However, it is released because of the impotance of the musicians involved and of its high musical and historical value. Every effort has been made to improve the sound qualilty through advanced restoration technologies.

ALL TRACKS PREVIOUSLY UNISSUED!

All surviving music from the concerts given by the John Coltrane Quintet with Eric Dolphy in Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Berlin in 1961.

Although sound quality is obviously not perfect, these extended tracks (taken from radio broadcasts and amateur recordings) give us a wonderful glimpse into the fabulous chemistry between Trane and Dolphy.
